Our fantastic PPM Team have been embracing the true Christmas spirt and giving back to our local communities by volunteering for some amazing Cumbrian charities.

PPM offer all our employees a day’s leave each year to volunteer for a charity or organisation of their choice or alternatively get involved in projects identified in our local areas that will benefit our communities and the environment.

PPM 'Wear It Pink' for Breast Cancer Now

On Friday 22nd October, our fantastic PPM team wore their snazzy pink hi-vis jackets with pride for 'Wear It Pink' Day.  The annual event aims to raise awareness of breast cancer and also monies for the charity, Breast Cancer Now.  The money raised helps to fund world breast cancer research and life-changing support.

We are proud to be supporting Gas Safety Week 2021, taking place 13 - 19 September. Helping communities stay gas safe.

Gas Safety Week is an annual safety week to raise awareness of gas safety and the importance of taking care of your gas appliances. It is coordinated by Gas Safe Register, the official list of gas engineers who are legally allowed to work on gas.

PPM send cards of kindness to help tackle loneliness

Our lovely local Lake District landmarks are helping to tackle loneliness in care homes this summer.

Loneliness is a growing problem among older people, and in care homes it can be a particularly difficult issue to resolve. Figures from Age UK show that 200,000 older people have not had a conversation with friends or family for a month, and 60% of people in care homes get no visitors at all.
