Cockermouth School's World of Work Day

On Thursday 13th October, PPM Limited attended Cockermouth School's "World Of Work Day" alongside other local and national businesses. 

 Cockermouth School and Inspira asked local and national businesses to come along and assist with the school's "World of Work Day" for the Year 11 pupils. Laura Brough and Beth Nicholls, PPM Limited's Communications and Development Officers, formed part of the the events "Meet the Employer". All Year 11 student were given the chance to talk to various businesses to help them understand the hundreds of different jobs available to them, they were also given advice on what qualifications were required for certain roles and how to stand out from the crowd on their CV's.

 The Year 11's found the information to be extremely beneficial and it was a pleasure for PPM Limited to attend such a positive event.
