Inspiring the Next Generation: PPM Ltd Supports 210 Students at Pudsey Grammar School’s World of Work Event

PPM Ltd recently supported the WOW (World of Work) event at Pudsey Grammar School, where our Leeds team helped 210 Year 10 students gain valuable interview experience through mock interviews. The session gave students the chance to build confidence, develop communication skills, and gain real insight into the recruitment process as they prepare for the world of work.

This week, PPM Ltd was proud to take part in the WOW (World of Work) event at Pudsey Grammar School, organised by Ahead Partnership. The event brought together local businesses to help students gain valuable insight into the professional world and prepare for their future careers.

Representing our Leeds branch, Charlie and Adam joined other industry professionals to support an impressive 210 Year 10 students as they participated in a series of mock interviews throughout the session. The activity gave students the opportunity to experience realistic interview scenarios, practise their communication skills, and receive constructive feedback from experienced professionals.

It was fantastic to see so many young people stepping outside their comfort zones, building confidence, and embracing the challenge of a real-world interview environment. The enthusiasm and engagement shown by the students made the session incredibly rewarding for everyone involved.

The feedback from students was overwhelmingly positive, with many saying the experience helped them feel more confident about future interviews and career opportunities. Knowing that these sessions made a genuine impact on their development made the day even more worthwhile.
